Our Campmeeting

1Thess. 2:17 But we, brethren, being taken from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavoured the more abundantly to see your face with great desire.

	The Campmeeting is in September and starts on Sunday before Labor Day week (August 31- September 5) 2008. Service times are 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily. All preachers will be called from the floor. The dates for the camp meeting are August 31- September 5, 2008. Services will be 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM daily. We will have an old fashion day on Thursday. All preachers are the main speakers, come prepared to preach, preachers will be preached as God leads. We will furnish all preachers and their families a motel room. There will be camper spaces at the camp grounds and the church. We will be serving meals beginning on Monday September 1.We need to know about camper spaces, motel rooms and the amount food to buy. THE CAMP WE BELONG TOO.

I was asked by a preacher friend what camp would I consider us to be. Then he named Sammy Allen, Ronnie Simpson, Bob Jones, Jack Hypes, Jerry Fallwell and Peter Ruckman. Having never been asked this I had to think about it.

I realize that some of those camps will not fellowship with others. If a person fellowships with others out side their camp then the leader sets himself up as the pope and the person would become an outcast. This is called secondary separation.

At our Camp meeting we have had preachers from Hyles Anderson, Jerry Fallwell, Dr. Ruckman's, Bob Jones, Dr. Carl Lackey etc. to preach. I have never ask what school a preacher attended before preaching him nor do I care. I have never asked what camp they were of or who they fellowshipped with. None of this matters!

To answer the question I would say we are KJV bible believers. As long as a man believes and preachers that book we could care less about that other junk. We don't allow preacher fighting but a preacher can't preach too straight for us.
